The billion dollar budgets multi-national corporations are able direct to media creates unbelievable cost efficiency and buying leverage. The additional impact of cross advertising and production deals by three or four international companies further enhances their leverage.(rent an Avis and get air travel credit, or use Am ex and get an Avis, Etc.)

Now with the accuracy of various rating services under fire even the big boys are wondering what in truth the value of their advertising placement might be.
